Overall the place is good. Price is cheap and staff are friendly. The only drawback is the location. Its hard to look for taxis on this area and the restos are too far. But overall, if you are looking for a nice place for a lower price then maven inn is the right place to be.

This is the 7th time in a span of 6 months that I booked a stay at Maven Inn and they never fail to satisfy me. Location-wise, it's very close to anywhere I need to go to - office, malls (Shopwise is about 3 minutes walk), restaurants (even friendly carinderias). The rooms are clean like, whenever we enter the room on our first day of stay, it always smells amazing. No smell of cigarette unlike other inns. The sheets are always new, not to mention very comfy (Room 208 has warm and huggable comforter, just a tip), and the towels smells like it's fresh from the dryers. The hot and cold showers (which is a must-have for me) are new, unlike with other hotels/inns where you'd be scared to turn them on because they look like they might electrocute you or something. Plus their prices in TravelBook feels like they are almost giving the room away. I've always loved my stay there. It's my number 1 go-to. Keep it up, Maven Inn! :)

Location wasn't very convenient as we had quite a difficult time looking for the inn. There were signs on the roads but they were small and not strategically placed for easy visibility. Also, there weren't any nearby convenience stores. The nearest was about a 5-10 minute walk away and the streets outside didn't seem very safe. Most rooms look old and the same and are quite small. The bathroom is especially small and there's not much space to move around, with no division for the shower area from the toilet area. Thus, items in the bathroom will get wet so we had to put on our clothes outside the bathroom. As advertised, the inn is normally equipped with cable TV but when we arrived, their cable connection was being fixed so we weren't able to avail of TV amenities. We also weren't warned that we had to pay an insurance fee of P1000 upon check in (to be returned to us upon check out). Parking was available right outside our room but we had to pay for it. We liked that it came with a dining table and a few chairs, and the bedroom had a division from the dining/living area. It was also equipped with a sink area with racks on the wall. It also came with mini cabinet/drawer type compartments for our bags and other things. AC system was strong and the bed and pillows were fine as well. Overall, I wouldn't highly recommend this inn for those who are after comfort. You may opt to check-in at this inn if you're looking for the cheapest place to stay in Makati. Given that most hotels in the area are pricey, this may pass if you're just looking for a place to sleep in.
