Travelbook Best Price Guarantee
I. Definition of Terms
  1. "Guest" refers to an individual who is not a registered member of ( that makes use of the website for hotel booking transactions.
  2. "Hotel booking/Booking" refers to a hotel booking transaction completed directly through the official website of
  3. "Travelbook Member" refers to an individual registered as a member of
  4. "User/s" refers to an individual, whether a member or not, who makes use of for hotel booking transactions.
II. Overview
  1. The Travelbook Best Price Guarantee ("Guarantee") is a special guarantee available for all Users who place reservations and/or book hotels using the website
  2. This Guarantee entitles Users to receive the price difference in case the latter finds an available online public hotel rate lower than the rate User booked with
  3. A Guarantee claim should be filed within twenty-four (24) hours of a paid and confirmed hotel booking with
  4. The Guarantee is created and managed by Travel Book Philippines, Inc. (“TravelBook”), and it shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions specified herein.
  5. Travelbook reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Guarantee at any time without prior notice, in whole or in part, for any or no reason, and without liability to the User.
  6. Travelbook also reserves the right to restrict the Guarantee’s availability to any User at any time, for any or no reason, without prior notice or liability to the User.
  7. The Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of User’s booking shall be the basis for determining User’s eligibility for the Guarantee.
III. Qualifications
  1. User Type. All Travelbook Members and Guests qualify for the Best Price Guarantee provided they make hotel booking transactions through
  2. Booking. The Guarantee only applies to online hotel bookings which were booked directly through Travelbook hotel bookings made via Cebu Pacific Air and 2GO Travel are expressly excluded from qualifying. The User should have a Booking Confirmation Email to qualify for the Guarantee. The booking must also be fully paid at the time of filing for a Guarantee Claim.
  3. Claim. The User must download a copy of the Best Price Guarantee Claim Form from the website (as linked here). The form must be filled out completely and emailed to TravelBook’s Customer Service Team (click here to email Customer Service) with the subject heading, “Best Price Guarantee Claim,” within twenty-four (24) hours of a confirmed booking through The Customer Service Team will then evaluate the validity of the claim within three (3) working days.
  4. Pricing. The lower hotel rate shall refer to the final rate inclusive of taxes and fees. It must be available publicly online on an English-language hotel booking website at the time of confirmation of TravelBook’s Customer Service Team.
  5. Hotel rates qualified for comparison shall not include the following:
    1. Any rates on, whether for different days or plans;
    2. Rates on deal sites, group buying sites, and auction sites;
    3. Rates on official hotel websites or official online direct booking service of hotels;
    4. Walk-in/offline rates;
    5. Packaged rates or hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package;
    6. Prices, disclosed only upon calling or emailing;
    7. Prices only available using coupon codes, group discounts, corporate discounts, newsletters, member login or members only programs, incentives, aggregator/consolidator websites, or reward programs; and
    8. Prices quoted in a currency other than Philippine pesos.
  6. Matching Comparisons. The Guarantee only applies to exact itinerary and term matches and only for websites that fully disclose itinerary details before completing a purchase. A User shall only qualify for the Guarantee if all terms of the prior hotel booking with are exactly matched, including but not limited to the following:
    1. Hotel establishment/Hotel chain (including branch and/or location);
    2. Stay period (dates must be exactly the same and not merely overlapping);
    3. Number of guests (including children);
    4. Room type and view (including bed configuration);
    5. Cancellation policy
    6. Payment method used; and
    7. Meal inclusions.
    Provided that a hotel accommodation booked through which provides a full refund cancellation policy shall not be comparable for Guarantee to a hotel accommodation booked with another website providing a non-refundable cancellation policy.
  7. Coupon Code Discounts. In the event that an active sitewide coupon code discount is implemented by at the time of booking and filing of a claim, the User must book with the necessary coupon code to qualify for the Guarantee.
  8. Reward Points. Only bookings paid fully in cash or by credit card are qualified for the Guarantee. Bookings made with partial or complete use of Travelbook Reward Points are not entitled to the Guarantee.
IV. Verification of Claims
  1. All Guarantee claims are subject to verification of TravelBook. Travelbook must be able to verify all contents of the claim as qualified at the time of processing. This means that the lower hotel rate, including other itinerary details as specified in Section III (6), must be available and publicly listed online.
  2. Travelbook will not accept any and all screenshots or other photographic evidence of a lower price from the User. Such images may be easily modified or altered and may not be independently verified by Customer Service.
  3. Travelbook reserves the right not to verify a claim at its sole discretion which it deems to contain fraudulent claims or are otherwise made in bad faith. The same applies to claims which Travelbook deems to have been made due to apparent misprints or errors.
  4. Travelbook shall send an email to the User confirming the entitlement to the Guarantee once verified and confirmed. The return of the price difference in cash shall be processed as follows:
    1. For bookings with a checkout date within thirty (30) days from the submission of the Guarantee Claim, the User will receive the refund within thirty (30) days from the receipt of the confirmation email notice.
    2. For bookings with a checkout date beyond thirty (30) days from the submission of the Guarantee Claim, the User will receive the refund within three (3) working days after checkout from the hotel as specified in their Guarantee Claim. The User will also be awarded an additional PHP 200 in Travelbook Reward Points credited to the email address used for booking with
  5. Travelbook shall likewise send a notification email to the User in case the Guarantee is not applicable to the latter’s transaction.
  6. The individual hotel’s cancellation policy as specified in the Booking Confirmation Email will apply in case of a User’s cancellation of Travelbook hotel booking thereafter.
V. Modifications and Liability
  1. Travelbook reserves the right to amend, modify, relinquish, or limit these Terms and Conditions at any time, for any or no reason, without prior notice or liability to the User.
  2. If at any time, a User is found to have attempted to or violated these Terms and Conditions, Travelbook reserves the right to revoke any and all benefits of the Guarantee. It also reserves the right to reject any future Guarantee claims from the same User.
  3. Any User shall be considered to have agreed to any revisions on the Terms and Conditions whenever the benefits of the Guarantee are availed after such modifications and/or amendments have been made.
  4. All existing Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy not inconsistent with the provisions herein stated shall still apply in all transactions.
