Baguio City attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every February as it celebrates its biggest festival, the Panagbenga. With major events and activities scheduled throughout February, well until the first few days of March, expect it to be difficult to book budget hotels in Baguio, especially those located near Session Road, Baguio's main thoroughfare, where the parades, street festivities, and more will be happening. Rates will also spike up due to the high-tourist influx.

Panagbenga Festival

Festival-goers, backpackers, and independent travelers need not spend a fortune when there are several accommodation alternatives that are easier on the pocket, still close enough to the center of all the festival action, and worth their money.
