Planning to go diving this summer? You won’t have to leave the country to experience world-class diving spots as our very own country has a wide range of destinations for adventurers. Go diving in the beautiful shores of Boracay or travel down south to Puerto Galera. Read on to find out 5 Dive Resorts worth visiting this summer.
Located only 3 hours away from the metro, Anilao in Batangas is a world-class diving destination worth visiting this summer. It has more than 40 stunning dive sites only around 10 minutes away from each other, which allows divers to experience a wide variety of marine and coral life up close.

Another easy-to-visit dive destination is Puerto Galera located in Oriental Mindoro. Accessible by land and sea, Puerto Galera is just a three hours’ journey from the metro. It offers visitors more than 40 different dive sites, which range from 5 to 40 meters in depth. Divers can experience both shallow and deep diving in Puerto Galera, making it an ideal place to visit for your first dive.

Famous for its clear waters and stunning resorts, Coron has many interesting dive sites to offer to new divers. Visit the Taeie Maru dive site and get up close to an old Japanese oiler ship or the Siete Pecados, a coral reef sanctuary. Other recommended dive sites to explore are the Cyc Reef, Arni’s Point, and 5-5 Sea Horse Reef.

If you happen to be in Boracay this summer, add diving to your adventure list and visit the island’s famous sites. If you are a beginner, head to Angol Point, which starts at 5 meters deep, this reef is covered with corals, anemones, and sea cucumbers. Experienced divers might want to check out the Laguna De Boracay dive site, which is home to different groups of sea animals and fish.
