5 Must-Try Cafés and Restaurants in Boracay

Boracay is an island destination where people go to relax, have fun, and party. Beyond the beach, bodies, and bars, this top tourist place has a lot more to offer, one of them being great food. If you are heading to Boracay this summer, here are several restaurants you might want to try.

1. The Sunny Side Café

Location: Sands Hotel, Beachfront, Station 3
Price Range: At least PHP 300/person
The Sunny Side Café is a great breakfast hangout in Boracay, offering American, Filipino, and Intercontinental meals. Some of their best breakfast picks are pancakes, shakes, and toast.

2. Real Coffee
Location: Beachfront (White Beach)
Price Range: At least PHP 200/person
Real Coffee is another good place to get breakfast on the island. Everyone swears by their pastries, but the real stars are their calamansi muffins. Grab some of these famous muffins and pair them with brewed coffee. Make sure to take home a box of dozen as well.

3. PauPatri Restaurant
Location: Near the road, on the way to D’Mall
Price Range: At least PHP 500/person
This high-end restaurant is arguably one of the best on the island. It makes a great place for a romantic dinner with your special someone, thanks to its ambiance and elegant wooden interiors. It also makes for a different experience as all guests are required to remove their shoes upon entry and walk around barefoot. A must-try dish is their grilled fish.

4. Cozina Authentic Spanish Restaurant
Location: Zuzuni Boutique Hotel, Beachfront (White Beach), Station 1
Price Range: At least PHP 500/person
If you have a liking for Spanish cuisine, one of the best places to try in Boracay is Cozina Authentic Spanish Restaurant.  Make sure to try their chicken and chorizo paella, Mati Chocolate Sin, as well as their sangrias.

5. Tilapia ‘N Chips
Location: D’Mall Area
Price Range: At least PHP 300/person
Craving for fish and chips? Head over to Tilapia ‘N Chips. They offer big servings and have some of the best cooked tilapia you’ll ever have. A must-try is, of course, their signature fish and chips dish, which is fried upon order.
