Alta Vista de Boracay
This hillside resort near Puka Beach gives guests a more peaceful and private experience of Boracay.
While Boracay is a well-known place to party, most people still visit the white sand beaches for a bit of R&R. For those looking to enjoy a resort break at Boracay, Alta Vista de Boracay is a good choice--just far enough from the busier parts of the island so that guests have a sense of peace and privacy, but still offering access to the different energies of popular White Beach and secluded Puka Beach.
Situated on a hillside in Brgy. Yapak, Alta Vista de Boracay is a sprawling resort with expansive views of Boracay-from the blue sea and white sand beaches to the lush mountains and the surrounding fairways. 15 minutes away from White Beach through the resort's 24 hour shuttle service, it also has access to the private Puka Beach and the 3000-person capacity Ecoville Convention Center. Beyond this relative accessibility, however, the main draw of the resort is the quiet seclusion it offers within its secure and exclusive four hectare property.
Located in Southeast-Asian inspired condotel units spread out over hilly terrain, the resort's 500 studio and loft-type rooms are all fully fitted and designed with luxury in mind. The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with an LCD TV, a microwave oven, a mini-bar with a bar sink, and telephone and internet access. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate 4 to 6 people, making them ideal for family or group trips. Guests can enjoy sweeping views of the island from their own private balcony.
To allow guests to maximize their resort stay, Alta Vista has a range of amenities, attractions, and activities to suit various needs. For a bit of pampering and indulgence, the resort has an infinity pool, a spa, and a steam room. Families and big groups will appreciate the recreation center with its children's play area and karaoke facilities, as well as the water sports activities that can be arranged, such as island hopping, jet skiing, wake boarding, reef walking, scuba diving, and kiteboarding. Land activities are also available, including ATV rentals, horseback riding, and the nearby Zorb and zipline facilities. There are also facilities for events and meetings-the resort has a private 80-seater function room and business center services.
Alta Vista de Boracay also offers a number of dining options for guests. The Café Vista serves Filipino, Asian, and Continental cuisine in an al fresco setting with a view of the hills and the sea. Guests can also dine in the comfort of their rooms or enjoy an outdoor meal at one of the resort's picnic sites.
A virtual community set apart but still connected to the rest of Boracay, Alta Vista de Boracay provides a full resort experience in a setting of casual elegance, privacy, and exclusivity.
