Malacañang has recently released two new proclamations for three holidays. It’s time to plan more of your vacations in advance. Read on for the dates and details.

According to Proclamation No. 1072, November 18 (Wednesday) and November 19 (Thursday) of this year have now been declared as special non-working holidays in NCR. This is to make way for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit (APEC Summit), which sees the gathering of several economic leaders here in Metro Manila.

February 26, 2016, has also been declared a special non-working holiday, according to Proclamation No. 1071. This is to celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

August 31, 2015, last Monday of August – National Heroes Day
November 30, 2015, Monday – Bonifacio Day
December 25, 2015, Friday – Christmas Day
December 30, 2015, Wednesday – Rizal Day


August 21, 2015, Friday – Ninoy Aquino Day
November 1, 2015, Sunday – All Saints Day
November 18, 2015, Wednesday – APEC Summit
November 19, 2015, Thursday – APEC Summit
December 24, 2015, Thursday – Additional special non-working day
December 31, 2015, Thursday – Last day of the year
