The Taramindu Beach Garden Inn is named after the hundred-year old Tamarind tree the resort was built in. The resort exudes an aura of being in a secret garden, right in the middle of the famous Laiya, Batangas beachfront.

The resort boasts 10 fully air-conditioned rooms. One of the rooms is designed for honeymooners or families with younger kids, and offers a great view of the beach. Standard rooms have 2 double sized beds or 2 bunk beds good for groups or families. The suite overlooking the beach has one queen-sized bed and one single bed. Each room has a toilet and bath with hot and cold water and standard bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and four bath towels). Each room is equipped with a TV and DVD player, and DVDs can be borrowed for free in the office. There's no cable in the resort as Taramindu encourages their guests to go out and enjoy the beach. Overnight stay is inclusive of welcome drinks, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.

As with other resorts along the shoreline of Laiya in Batangas, Taramindu also offers kayaking, jet skiing, boat rentals for snorkeling, banana boat rides, and beach volleyball.  Board games such as mahjongg, chess, and darts are also available. Other amenities include karaoke at the in-house bar bar, located at the roof deck of the resort. Guests can order in their drinks and food or bring their own and sing the night away. A massage is also available upon request if one needs to relax those tired muscles after a whole day of activities.

To appease one's hunger, the resort's Balukbaluk dining hall serves home cooked meals as part of the overnight package. Meals wouldn't be complete without a cup of the famous Batangas kapeng barako.

Taramindu is the kind of resort where one can enjoy homey accommodations, beautiful waves, and quiet calm--everything one needs for an excellent vacation.
