If you've always wondered what it's like to be in heaven, this new attraction in Iloilo will literally bring you to kingdom come.

Tucked in the town of San Joaquin, Iloilo, GarinFarm Inland Resort is a place for recreation, leisure, and even education because of its many agricultural attractions across its 14-hectare property. Besides taking a dip in the swimming pools and learning about farming, guests can also get in touch with their spiritual selves while on vacation with GarinFarm Inland Resort's unique attraction—The Pilgrimage.

A heavenly reward
As its name suggests, The Pilgrimage encourages tourists to go on a pilgrimage to the 101-foot Divine Mercy Cross that sits atop a mountain. Getting there requires you to climb more than 400 steps of stairs. There are dioramas at the foot of the mountain, depicting scenes from the Old Testament like Noah's Ark and the Garden of Eden. As you start your journey uphill to the cross, you will encounter more images as you go along such as the scenes from the life of Jesus Christ; from his birth until his death.

Upon reaching the top of the mountain, you will be welcomed to "heaven"—or at least GarinFarm's interpretation of it. Enter the "pearly gates" made of clouds and be greeted by a throng of adoring angels before finding yourself standing in front of a statue of the Holy Trinity. This overwhelming sight will be your reward after your tiring journey.

Unwind and learn
There are plenty of ways that guests can freshen up after their religious tour. They can jump into the swimming pools and take a relaxing dip, or go boating, kayaking, or fishing at the man-made lagoon. They can also try horseback riding or for a more thrilling experience, the zip-line ride.

For guests who seek more than just leisure activities, there are agricultural attractions that can teach you a thing or two about the industry. Aside from the farming techniques, visitors can also witness how animals like cattle, rabbits, and doves are fed and raised. One-of-a-kind attractions like The Green Vegetable Tunnel are perfect backgrounds for selfies.

So whether you are in need of a recreational, educational, or even spiritual vacation, GarinFarm Inland Resort makes sure that you are enriched in mind, body, and soul.
