Bloggers and social media influencers gathered together for insightful discussions at the annual Blogopolis conference on Saturday, February 27, at Green Sun Hotel, Makati.
Entitled Blogopolis 4D, this year’s theme focused on the latest trends of the blogging and online marketing industries. The event attracted mainly a youthful audience—composed of aspiring bloggers, students, and young professionals who joined in a plenary session with the country’s most popular bloggers, social media personalities, and business experts.
The program covered various topics about blogging and social media—from digital marketing and business trends to tips on content creation. Key speakers include The Apprentice Asia winner Jonathan Yabut, entrepreneur and TV host RJ Ledesma, Peach Natividad of McCann Worldgroup, Abe Olandres of Nuffnang Philippines, and comedian and college professor Ramon Bautista.
Bloggers like Richie Zamora of The Pickiest Eater in the World and Tippy and Anthony Go of Googly Gooeys shared their experiences and suggestions on producing creative content while the women of The Soshal Network, musician and writer Jim Paredes, Maura Rodriguez of Preview Magazine and many more participated as panelists. Vice president candidate Leni Robredo also graced the event to talk about her own experiences with using social media.
Featured as one of the sponsors for Blogopolis 4D, Travelbook.ph gave away prizes and freebies, and invited participants for selfies in the event. Visitors to the booth were asked to share their photos in Instagram while completing the statement “Travel more to _________” with the hashtags #TravelBookPH and #Blogopolis4D. Three (3) lucky winners received P2500 Travelbook.ph vouchers while each booth participant received a GetGo Card. They are also entitled to 25% discount on their upcoming booking.
Blogopolis 4D was organized by Nuffnang Philippines, the country’s largest blog & social media advertising community. The event was followed by the Nuffnang Awards Night to recognize the best blogs and bloggers in the country today. Some of the winners are Camie Juan for Best Travel Blog and Blogger of the Year, and Maine Mendoza for Best Social Media Influencer.
