I was extremely impressed with the staff at this hotel. After checking in and deciding to explore the city, I left my room key with the front desk and set out on the town. I spent a couple days coming in and out all day and night. Not once did I have to tell the staff at the counter my room number to retrieve my room key to go up to the room. They reached for the key each time I walked past security and handed me the key as I passed the desk to the elevator. :) My friends told me that the hotel was located in a bad neighborhood, but there was a Jollibee directly across the street, a Seven-11 on the other corner, a market next door where I bought snacks AND two or three nightclubs at the end of the street with live music - I thoroughly enjoyed the area and am planning on going back in a couple weeks! :)
