It is relatively cheap and is located strategically near shops, malls and the the airport. It is quiet so it's nice to relax here. My concern is that the aircon unit and shower heater are placed so high on walls so short people will find it difficult to adjust them. Also, no included toothbrush, toothpaste & shampoo. The staff are very accomodating though.

My stay in this hotel was often just for an overnight stay but I would still recommend it. The staff are all accommodating and helpful. It's a nice clean hotel. 10-15mins from the airport and near the bus/van terminals going to Caticlan or Iloilo. Will be staying again in this hotel for sure on my next trip to Kalibo.

Good points: The location was great as it was near the airport and the Ceres Bus Terminal. It got spacious room and facilities were working properly. Staff were courteous. There was no problem with the check-in or check-out. Downside: The room was a bit outdated. The air conditioner was too small that it was not enough to cool off the entire room. Bed and pillows were hard. Videoke beside the hotel was too loud that it kept us awake until midnight.

I was surprised how clean my room is. Also, the room I was in (Room 201 ext.) had a very igloo-type of accommodation. It becomes really cold with the air con on. Even if there is no food available, ChowKing and Dunkin' Donuts are steps away from the establishment. The hotel is really safe because it offers 24 hours security because of LandBank being at the ground floor of the establishment. Tricycles are at P8/person if you travel within the city limits, once you go to Tighayon Hills or at Bakhawan Eco Park, it becomes P50-P60 per way. It is best to ask your front desk officer to help you secure a tricycle to these spots.

All the other online reviews about the great service of staff and cleanliness of the place is confirmed. I like that their price is just right for a day rest before going to Boracay. The only thing the hotel could improve on is the wifi on the rooms although one can have access on their lobby and restaurant. I definitely felt our stay here is worth it and would not think twice about staying again at La Esperanza.
