Pros: Fair priced for Camp John Hay location, all the basics provided, toiletries&coffee provided upon request, location is excellent for a family bringing small kids, lots of parking space great choice if bringing car. Cons: Some fumigation is required, provision of basic toiletries should be SOP, can be costly if not bringing car. Overall: Highly recommended for vacationists needing relaxed ambiance, or for a family bringing small children (sleep is a must). Improvements: Also recommend giving complimentary breakfast, if not coffee or tea, and some rolls with jam&butter.

My family and I had a good experience at Igorot lodge, because we did not expect that the room would be new. We expect that this is old already, hence it is expected that it has old smell already. Probably, the good thing was we did not expect that this should be comparable to other new hotel accommodation in Baguio. But in terms of cleanliness, it is acceptable for an old accommodation, although since it is old, the wood cabinet and windows were already defective; lights are dim. But, they also have toiletries, soap, towels, shampoo, conditioner (except of toothbrush and toothpaste), they changed the towel after a day of usage, they provide clean and good smell bed and pillow case, staff were approachable and they are very flexible in your request. In terms of price, bit expensive compared to other hotels outside CJH, since you can find other hotels at 1k - 1.5k per night only. What we like most was the location which is very relaxing and homey, just park your car in front of the lodge and can walk straightly to your room, its like your home. Suggestion; water dispenser should be located at the lobby instead at the backyard.

AIM's location is undoubtly very nice because it is found inside Camp John Hay - where everything you need for a vacation is there already. But sadly, the hotel itself is very disgusting! Rooms are carpeted, BUT into our surprise, these are NOT literally vacumed for cleaning and hygiene purposes. Housekeepers told us they only use the traditional pinoy brooms (walis ting-ting). That's why my two sons kept on sneezing overnight due to the dust or dirt (allergens) on the carpet. Bed foams are literally OLD and dusty with stains.. linens were used to cover all that. Bathrooms are also dirty. I had to buy our own bathroom cleaners (Clorox, Lysol, etc.) from Seven Eleven, just to sanitized it properly. Cabinets, Curtains and furnitures are very dusty also. The whole room smells very moldy and old. Result was.. Our kids had a mild asthma and had a hard time sleeping because the whole area was unsanitized and pure of allergens. Plus, my youngest had an itchy skin althroughout our stay. We ended up going back home the following day, and we didnt had the chance to complete our 3days & 2 nights stay. What a VERY UNPLEASANT stay we had there. I swear! I'll NEVER book in that hotel again!! I hope the management will do something about it.
