Had a good time staying here with friends. The place was clean and the staff were courteous with your needs. Although breakfast was served in bed. Wish that they have dining area also for guest's preference.

The hotel is along the main road so its not hard to locate it especially if you're commuting. Summit Ridge is walking distance, which is a plus. We asked a staff to microwave the popcorn we bought and they did it without hesitation. Thumbs up! 👍

My family and I chose to go on a staycation to celebrate Christmas. The place is just enough for us. The staff are polite and knows how to adjust based on our needs.

It's often difficult to get an accommodation on a Christmas holiday when you are booking almost a week from it. So I was very fortunate to be able to get a room at Hotel Nao from TravelBook which I was not able to stumble upon at other booking sites. I was actually browsing for weeks on our New Year destination and I was targeting Puerto Galera. When I was able to pick a location with a good deal, I was told by my wife that it was quite far and the relatives are planning to have a reunion at Silang instead. Good thing I notified the family before making the deal, saved me a lot of trouble on cancelling (and reimbursing). So to my dismay, I have to scramble for time and accommodation at Tagaytay which the family preferred to go even on a day trip for Christmas. It took me hours looking for affordable accommodations using CashCashPinoy, Metrodeal, Trip Advisor, etc. when I remembered the web app our company developed, TravelBook. So, I went to the site and made my very first online booking with TravelBook. Lo and behold, Hotel Nao popped right on top of the list as if by fate! I was also surprised on how easy to use TravelBook (bias aside, but kudos to our development team for such a wonderful app!). I didn't even hesitated on paying the booking fee before consulting my wife (I actually wanted to check how convenient the cancellation process but I may just try that on another time). Good thing that when I finally showed the family our Christmas destination, they're all thumbs up except for a small snag from my youngest daughter when she asked if there was a pool. Alas, there's not much facilities at Hotel Nao but I told her that it's too cold for it to matter, LOL. I actually only have one worry coming into the hotel during our check-in - "able-to-check-in." This anxiety was further exacerbated by a guest who was obviously upset and had a heated discussion with the receptionist regarding their long wait for their own check-in. I tried to keep calm as I handed over my check-in requirements to another receptionist who processed mine in a very short time despite the additional processing for my +1 and extra bed. I guess I dodged the bullet on that one! Breakfast is standard Gerry's Grill's according to the staff so you probably have an idea how the food is at Nao. They don't have a dining hall because only a few steps away and you have a selection of several good restaurants/bars. If you want a convenience store, 7-11 is just across the road from the hotel. Starbucks? Also, a stone's throw away. Grocery? Same thing. Except for the pool and nearby movie house, you have it all within reach so it was a really convenient stay for me and my family. Did I mention that there's also a view deck of the famous Taal volcano that's better than Leslie's or even Taal Vista lodge in just steps away from Hotel Nao? The hotel rate may not be affordable for every common Juan but considering the season and the overall accommodation, I think it's worth it. :)

3 Things You Love about This Hotel: Staff are hospitable and quick to respond to our needs, Wifi is strong, Room is clean, TV screen is big, Toiletries are sufficient, Hot shower is sufficient, Very near restaurants bars and Starbucks Room: Deluxe Room (With Breakfast) - Deluxe Room Stay Date: 12/24/2016 to 12/26/2016

We decided to book online via travelbook since most hotels are already full at the time and considering that there are 9 of us then, it will be doubly hard to find a room that can suit us. Upon arrival, the front desk crew and room attendants were accommodating but what surprised us is that it had a very relaxing ambiance for an incredibly cheap price. Also, it is situated in the heart of Tagaytay City which makes dining, shopping and sightseeing accessible although it might be a sort of a disadvantage since congested traffic plagues the area especially at night time and parking space around the vicinity was scarce (being in the same compound with Gerry's Grill and a number of other restaurants). We only had breakfast once, since its free anyways, but we were not totally satisfied with it. Overall, our stay was very much enjoyed and I did recommend it to my friends since most of them want strong wifi connections at their hotels.

The place is situated along the key restaurants tourists will surely love. It's just next to josephine's and other places including skyranch which is just a 5-10 minute walk. The rooms have all the basic necessities you would need plus the comfortable bed and working aircon. The only downside is the lack of view considering the price. Some nearby hotels at the same side are offering similarly priced rooms with a good view of the lake. The included xsilog breakfast will do for travelers on a budget but would recommend skipping it and just try something new.
