The beautiful Island Garden City of Samal

Here you can visit the famous Vanishing Island that only appears during low tide. The island is also filled with giant clams and you can see most of them at the Giant Clam Sanctuary near Barangay Adecor. Samal is also home to the picturesque Hagimit Falls where you can go diving or have a nice picnic around the scenic and relaxing area. Samal Island is lush and rich with activities to do and the moment you step on its white sandy beaches, you will surely want to stay there and never leave.
Luxury paradise like no other
Before it became known as a relaxing private retreat, Pearl Farm Beach Resort in the quiet southern portion of the Island Garden City of Samal was once an actual pearl farm. In 1992, it was converted into a resort whose white sand beaches, ocean views, and indigenous design gives guests the feeling of really getting away from it all without having to give up certain conveniences. Though no longer a pearl farm, the waters around the resort are still teeming with marine life, which simply shows how isolated a place it is as well as an ideal spot for dive enthusiasts.
Aside from its location, one of the features of Pearl Farm Beach Resort that makes it a relaxing place to stay are its accommodations. The resort’s selection of 75 rooms all face the ocean and are divided into five room types. The rooms in Pearl Farm Beach Resort have all been exquisitely designed and equipped with modern amenities. The Hilltop Rooms can be found on a structure perched on a hill that overlooks the vast ocean. The Samal Houses and Samal Suites are individual cottages; the Samal House is built on stilts over the water, while the Samal Suites are along the beachfront. Meanwhile, the Mandaya Houses are duplex-type bungalows found a little further away from the beach but have a pool nearby. The Malipano Villas are built on a separate private island facing the rest of the resort. This part of the resort also houses the Pavilion, where events like parties and weddings can be held. All of the rooms have balconies facing the beach, where guests can enjoy a view of the sunset or the lovely morning seascape. They are also equipped with twin beds or a king-size, an air conditioner, a flat TV, and a mini bar. The elegant private bathrooms are complete with hot and cold showers.
Fun and fit facilities
The facilities of Pearl Farm Beach Resort add an element of fun and convenience to any kind of getaway. There are in-house dining facilities, such as the Maranao Restaurant, where you can dine on scrumptious food choices in a relaxing ambiance. Here you can order fresh seafood dishes and some of the best fruits that Mindanao has to offer. If you want to unwind, there is the Parola Tapas Bar, where you can get a stunning 360 degree view of the island. Order some cocktails with your friends or significant other while watching the stunning sunset for a charming way to end the day.
Pearl Farm Beach Resort also has facilities that cater to guests seeking adventure and entertainment, like the Aqua Sports Center where guests can go on dives, or go Jet-skiing, wakeboarding, and kayaking. Other facilities include a game room and the two swimming pools; the Infinity Pool presents guests with an exceptional view of the stunning Mount Apo, while the Mandaya Pool is surrounded by shrub greeneries for those who want to feel closer to nature. Dull moments are virtually unknown while in Pearl Farm Beach Resort since it has a great selection of sports facilities from tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts to its own fitness center.
Guests can also get the most of their relaxing vacation by getting a massage at the Ylang-Ylang Spa. Treat yourself to an array of different massages and spa treatments to further elevate your vacation in paradise. Island-hopping, tour services, and sunset cruises are also offered at the resort for an additional cost. These services are exceptional and worth availing of, especially for those who want to fully enjoy the wonders of Samal Island, especially its remarkable marine life.
Though Pearl Farm Beach Resort has been around for almost 20 years, the resort still maintains its facilities so that guests are sure to have a relaxing experience.
