We arrived at Casa Rica at midnight for only a one night stay to visit Vigan. Our first impression of the place was very nice, being an old restored Spanish home, the exterior had lots of character and charm. However, upon checking in, the staff was not flexible at all with a late checkout due to our late arrival, as well not considering were only staying overnight. On top of that, I was so surprised to step into the room and immediately bang my shins on the bed. This room was not as described, and even if it was described as such, it would never be rented. It literally fit a queen sized bed, barely enough room to walk around it. Because of the small space, of course there were no lamps, side tables, or anywhere to place luggage or clothing. Just enough space, to stand up and open the door. For the amount of money spent, I expected certain standards and they did not deliver. Maybe if they charged half the price it would be ok, but that's it. Would not recommend
