About ELEMENT BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Each room has been custom designed to accent both the beauty of raw materials and also the simple elegance of modern design. Pros, Big rooms, clean Cons, plumbing system is small bore drainage and is liable to block, hence they dont want you to put tissue paper down the toilet, as per the sign on the toilet wall. Unacceptable considering its a relatively new hotel. The bedroom doors are cheap and flimsy and are unlikey to meet the latest national building code regs of the Philippines in terms of fire safety. The locks on the bedroom doors, are cheap internal locks that i havent seen used in years on external doors, this type can now be found on internal bathroom doors. The specification of the air con unit is a joke, with the big windows and big rooms, it is a cheap small home type used for a room half the size with a much smaller window - the rooms will roast in summer. The safe deposit box is the smallest i have ever seen and would just about fit in an iphone and a wallet, forget about protecting your ipad. The reception counter seems to be an afterthought and customers entering the bar area have unsighted access to the stairs to the bedrooms. All in all, disappointing for a good attempt to produce a boutique polished concrete city hotel and I applaud them for having a go, just a shame that the project has in some cases been ill conceived and financially constricted. These are relatively minor issues in the scheme of things and could be put right, but until they do i wont be returning.

Stayed in the hotel for a day. The room is so cozy and the staff were so accomodating and nice. It's an awesome stay though there are few things that needs to improve on like the water system and cable but other than that its okay.
