MenCa Development Corporation is a Cebu-based and family-run business organization that has over 40 years of experience in island resort development. It has an impressive selection of establishments: Papa Kit's Marina and Fishing Lagoon, Estaca Bay Gardens Conference Resort, and Nalusuan Island Resort & Marine Sanctuary.
As early as the 1970s, Democrito Mendoza, the patriarch of the Mendoza Family who owns MenCa Development Corp., has been acquired huge tracts of land in Cebu. He saw the potential of these areas to be tourist destinations, which is why Nalusuan Island Resort and Marine Sanctuary was established. The resort is the perfect place where people can appreciate a beautiful marine sanctuary, unwind and relax, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
As years went on, two more properties were added to the company's portfolio of lodging facilities. Papa Kit's Marina and Fishing Lagoon was built to promote eco-tourism and family-oriented activities. The Estaca Bay Gardens Conference Resort is another property that offers comfort and convenience, whether you are in Cebu for business or a holiday.
Though these properties have different target markets, all 3 MenCa Properties are bounded by its focus on "protecting the marine resources than merely generating profit." Consequently, all 3 properties have been equipped with eco-friendly materials and employ eco-friendly practices that do not only contribute to the preservation of the environment but are highly efficient as well for all businesses.
With the rise of Philippine tourism in recent years, the MenCa Group continues to further its ecological practices in all 3 of its properties.
