My family went home to Sorsogon City to see my parents. And due to lack of room at their house, we would always sleep at hotels when we take these trips, we usually stay in Legazpi City. But since Tentyard Hotel in San Juan, Sorsogon City is close to my parents' house, and we were too tired from travelling, we opted to try it out and booked the cheapest room they have to stay for the night. The room looked decent enough but the sheets were old and felt rough. There was a small TV and aircon, but the bathroom was gross, we found strands of hair (not ours). There was no flush and the water was accumulating, rather flooding, on the bathroom floor and my daughter slid and fell down while taking a bath. I consider that moment the turning point in the way I book rooms for my family. To never take any chances on short-time motels when traveling with them. Moreover, the flimsy curtain they put over the massive aquarium-like window of every room was not enough to cover the goings-on in that room that I guess the couples would prefer to have been private. My hubby found this out when he went out to buy food outside and passed by the other rooms. You can now guess what their hotel attendants (mostly guys) do to help pass the time.
